About Meredith Vender, LCSW

Hi! I’m Meredith (she/her). It’s nice to meet you, thank you for being here. After many years of working in hospitals, most recently at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, I started my private practice so I could spend more meaningful time with clients. My experience in healthcare has provided me the privilege of helping a broad population of adults and older adults coping with a wide array of medical and mental health diagnoses. I am here to witness and support you through a challenging time in your life such as receiving a new diagnosis, coping with a chronic illness, shifting to a caregiver role or grieving the death of a loved one. I am well versed in navigating the complex medical system and can help foster collaboration and communication with your medical treatment team. I am continuously researching and networking with local and national resources that can supplement your care including support groups, wellness activities and caregiver resources.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University and a Master of Social Welfare from UCLA. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker registered by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW 68680) and a Certified Case Manager (CCM) by the Commission for Case Manager Certification.

I value inclusivity and am an advocate for social justice. I welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, national origins, religions, abilities, sexual orientations and genders.
